Envy has many ugly heads. One that many misidentify is judgement. Judgement shows up and camouflages envy often making it appear palatable or justified. Judgement and envy as cohorts distort clairvoyance, mistake the desire for connection with vain attention seeking, and strip the joy of accomplishment from the envious, as well as, the envied. In Lesson 96, we will discuss envy from many sides and entertain a loving solution to this very human distraction.

Hi everyone, my name is Michelle, and I am the producer of Lessons from the Universe. Last week, Jennifer dropped a podcast titled, “Let’s Show Up”. In that episode, Jennifer mentioned her children’s recent school projects for a contest they both entered. There was a negative comment or two made by peers regarding the children and them both winning their contests. At the end of the episode, Jennifer was going in to speak to their classes. I was curious to get their opinions, so I asked Jennifer to follow up and let all of us know how that went, as well as, speak with her children and ask them their thoughts about the contests and the comments that were made. I especially loved their responses because it provides us insight into communication and a deep understanding from their perspective. Not to mention some of their responses are amazing!

The biggest difference between people who succeed and those who don’t is whether or not they show up, whether or not they even participate in the first place. All too often we look at others with envy or distain for their success when what we really have in front of us is evidence that showing up works. Truly awakened souls are proud to witness the success of others, because they are in constant pursuit of their own.
